Somersby Brook
A set of 12 sequential images, taken on a walk from St. Margaret's Church, Bag Enderby, where Tennyson's father was the rector,
to the little stream known as Somersby Brook; the inspiration for Tennyson's well known poem entitled 'The Brook'.
The poet R.S.Thomas made a small pilgrimage there in the early 1950s, and the words that I used in making this piece are from a poem
he wrote about his visit to Tennyson's birthplace and the nearby stream.
